The ANCASVI Association has been working for about 30 years for the development of international norms of this field and for the improvement of communications with the other European Manufacturers.

ANCASVI had an important role for the development and the approval of the EN 13814:2004 norm, both in its first edition and in the second edition prEN-13814:2015, which is by now in the approval phase, keeping its secretary position in the CEN/TC-152. From this norm, also the ISO 17842 norm has developed, thus becoming the reference norm worldwide.

The creation of the ANCASVI Technical Committee shows an increase of the cooperation among  Manufacturers to face problems which have not been analyzed inside norms, such as maintenance, life of the attractions and safety during the assembly phases and for mobile attractions.
