BAUSTUDIO® was created in Dallas (TX-USA) on 1977. Founder partners were:
Walter Spaggiari, businessman and chairman of one of the world's major amusement company,
John Martin, architect specialized in Theme Parks design,
Franco Barazzoni, environmental architect.
Our activity started in the same year, when we design the Khartoum Park in Sudan, but many of us had already been working for many years in the Amusement Park field.
In 1981, BAUSTUDIO moved to Italy and Attilio Barbieri jointed the group as chief engineer.
In 1986, Antonella Zanti took part of the team as creative engineer.
Throughout all this years, we have worked on feasibility studies and executive projects for hundreds of Parks in all parts of the world. Over 30% of these Parks have actually been built. Experience is therefore one of our strong points in a sector where there are no "text books" theories, just a practical activity.
BAUSTUDIO® operates "full time" in this field alone. We therefore possess specific knowledge about these complexes.
Each planning department is directed by a person possessing particular expertise: from the architectural part, to the structural engineering complex, right through the industrial Design and Artistic Management.
Moreover BAUSTUDIO® carries out the works required in order to build the planned Park on site and first hand, thus avoiding errors, delay and waste of money. It is important to remember that only planners who fully know all the problems linked with Leisure Parks, can guarantee that principals make the best possible investment.
